The Festival
A gathering rooted in Faith,
shaped by the Pacific
“We are as strong as our faith and as young as our hope.”
The Fiji Catholic Trans-Tasman Festival of Hope 2026 brings together Fijian Catholic communities across Australia and New Zealand for three days of worship, culture and community. Hosted by the Fiji Catholic Chaplaincy Sydney — this is not simply an event. It is a pilgrimage.
Concert proceeds are donated to Corpus Christi College, Fiji — a gift from the diaspora community back to the home we carry in our hearts.

The Five Pillars
Faith
Rooted in the Eucharist and the Catholic tradition carried from Fiji across seas and generations.
Culture
Celebrating Fijian identity and Pacific heritage — honouring where we come from as an act of faith.
Connection
Bridging communities across Australia and New Zealand. The trans-Tasman is not geography — it is relationship.
Communion
Gathering at the table — in the Eucharist and in the shared life of our community.
Pilgrimage
The journey to Sydney is an act of faith. We come not just to attend — we come to be changed.
